SHIFT LUNCH SESSION

Say What You've Achieved. And Mean It.

Talk about what you're good at and what you've accomplished — without playing it down.

You know you've done good work. You've put your strengths to work, delivered results and made a difference.

But when it's time to talk about your achievements, do you find yourself making them sound smaller than they really are?

In this practical 45-minute session, we'll explore how to recognise your own contribution and talk about it naturally, clearly and with conviction. Because your achievements deserve to be recognised. By others. And by you.

You know you've made a difference.

But saying it out loud can feel awkward.

You can talk about what your team has achieved. But when the conversation turns to your own contribution, you might find yourself saying, "It was a team effort" or "I just did my job." Both may be true. But neither tells the whole story.

Your strengths, your decisions and the way you've put them to work have contributed to those results.

You don't have to become louder or take credit for something you didn't do. You can appreciate the people around you and still recognise your own contribution. And you can learn to talk about it in a way that feels natural, not boastful.

WHAT WE’LL DO TOGETHER

Three steps.
Your contribution, in your own words.

In this practical 45-minute session, you'll work with a real situation from your professional life and find the words to talk about what you're good at and what you've achieved.

You'll leave with your own value statement, a clearer ask and an opening sentence you can use in your next conversation

VALUE

Recognise how you've put your strengths to work and what you've made possible. Move from describing what you did to explaining the difference you made.

ASK

Get clear on what you want the other person to understand, recognise or discuss — whether it's your contribution, your next opportunity or your compensation.

OPENING

Find a first sentence that sounds like you. Clear, natural and confident, without apologising for your achievements or making them smaller.

YOUR HOST

I'm Katharina Engelhardt!

I spent 30 years in international business, including 23 years at adidas, where I led global teams and worked as a Senior Director. Today, I'm a Career & Leadership Coach and the founder of The Female Shift Atelier.

I work with experienced women who want to use their strengths, pursue their ambitions and navigate the realities of corporate life.

I know how important it is to understand your contribution —not just how hard you've worked, but what you've made possible.

In this session, I'll help you recognise what you bring to the table and find the words to talk about it. Naturally, clearly and without playing it down.
